To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1989 regime change in Hungary, Veszprem will host Think Freedom, an urban spectacle and multidisciplinary art installation by renowned American artist, Edina Seleskovic. The installation is a reflection on the meaning of freedom, incorporating sculpture, performance, light, sound, film, the art of literary word, and new global communication technologies, while connecting young generations with the universal power of art. Think Freedom is supported by the U.S. Embassy in Hungary and is created in partnership with the City of Veszprem and in collaboration with young people from six Hungarian cities.
The grand opening of Think Freedom will take place on Szabadsag ter – Freedom Square – in Veszprem on May 10th, 2019, at 15:30, during Veszprem’s Gizella Days Arts Festival. The installation will remain up until the first week of June 2019.
