Media Literacy through American Culture Summer Course
The U.S. Embassy Budapest is offering a Media Literacy through American Culture Summer Course on July 9-13, 2023 in Badacsony. The camp is organized by the U.S. Embassy Budapest and administered by IATEFL-Hungary.
Ideal applicants work as English language teachers in the Hungarian public education system and have a maximum of 5 years’ teaching experience. They are open and ready to work in collaboration with peers to devise a project and present their ideas on the last day of the course.
The course is free of charge, U.S. Embassy Budapest will cover accommodation, meals, and training for the participants. Participants will be reimbursed up to HUF 6,000 for travel costs and will need to present proof of transportation (train/bus tickets, fuel slips) at the training site. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and a five-credit certificate.
The trainers are U.S. professionals from the field.
