Have you been dreaming about spending time in the United States to improve your English skills, get to know the culture or to further your career? Exchange programs are a great opportunity that can help you with all this, but you need to plan well in advance.
To provide you with up-to-date information on scholarships and professional exchange programs, the U.S. Embassy will have a booth at EDUCATIO, the largest study fair in Hungary on January 12-14, 2023 at Hungexpo. Register now to attend this free event and meet our EducationUSA advisors from the American Corner Hungary network and the Fulbright Educational Advising Center, representatives of FLEX Hungary, and our Embassy colleagues working on exchange programs.
Students, parents, teachers and professionals from every field are invited to browse U.S. study opportunities and ask questions in person at EDUCATIO.
We are currently accepting applications for the following programs:

Ambassadors Fund Summer Work Travel (AFSWT)
The AFSWT scholarship gives university students the chance to spend the summer working with an international team at a traditional American children’s camp, learning about American culture, making lifelong friends, building relationships, improving their language skills in a native environment and using their pocket money to travel around America. The program also gives young people basic skills that they can use in their future jobs and experience how to get by in a foreign country.
Application deadline: subject to availability of places. (The sooner you apply, the better.)
“I completely stepped out of my comfort zone.”
