Contemporary Hungarian Artists Display Innovative Work in Ambassador Pressman’s Official Residence
As part of his commitment to strengthening cultural ties between the United States and Hungary and his family’s passion for the arts, Ambassador David Pressman invited a team of contemporary Hungarian artists to display their innovative work in his official residence over the past three months. Entitled “Abracadabra,” the installation has been viewed by hundreds of visitors to the Ambassador’s residence since April.
On June 21, Ambassador Pressman hosted a reception in honor of the artists and their work. In his remarks, he noted: “The United States and Hungary have shared a rich cultural connection going back to the earliest days of our relationship, and I hope that tonight proves to be yet another thread in the complex and beautiful tapestry that comprises our shared connection.”
