Pre-Interview Tests and Job Interview Process
In most cases you will be sent an invitation by e-mail or by phone to schedule a pre-interview test. Tests may be conducted in person or online. Our recruitment team will inform you if you pass the test and if the hiring section wishes to interview you.
Please note that travel to and from the testing or interview locations will not be reimbursed. Telephone interviews may be possible, but only as a rare exception. Due to social distancing measures taken during COVID19, interviews and testing may be conducted in person or online.
We expect you to dress appropriately for an assessment at the Embassy. Please plan to wear business attire when attending testing and/or interview.
If you are not a Hungarian citizen, you are required to present the original documentation supporting your legal right to work in Hungary and additional application documentation. If you do not present this documentation, you may not progress further in the assessment process.
The selected candidate will receive a conditional offer, which is contingent upon the applicants ability to obtain a security certification and medical clearance. Please note: these pre-employment checks can take some time (approx. 8-10 weeks).
We strongly advise NOT handing in your notice to your current employer before you are notified by the Embassy’s HR Office that the pre-employment checks are complete and we are ready to schedule a start date.
