The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce the Atlas Corps Fellowship – a special opportunity for emerging civil society leaders to participate in a 6- to 18-month professional fellowship in the United States. All Fellows will be placed at a leading social change organization in the United States. Individuals in the nonprofit/NGO sectors with 2 to 10 years of experience, a college degree, and English proficiency are encouraged to apply.
Atlas Corps has supported over 300 emerging leaders from nearly 70 different countries and seeks candidates to apply as soon as possible for their next class of Fellows.
Atlas Corps is an overseas fellowship for the world’s best nonprofit leaders. Their mission is to address critical social issues by developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and promoting innovation through an overseas fellowship of skilled nonprofit professionals. The Atlas Corps Fellowship lasts 6 to18 months and is offered three times a year. Fellows serve full-time at Host Organizations, developing leadership skills and learning nonprofit best practices through the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab professional development series and through networking opportunities with other Fellows who are skilled nonprofit professionals from around the world. This prestigious fellowship covers costs for health insurance, enrollment in Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab, and air travel and visa costs. In addition, Fellows receive a living stipend to cover basic expenses (food, local transportation, and shared housing).
