Event(s): On Saturday, August 22nd, 2020, there are the following planned demonstrations against the Budapest Pride Festival and the LGBTI community:

Date/Time: August 22 (Saturday) – 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Location: Kossuth Lajos tér by Alkotmány utca in District 5
Organizer: ALFA Szövetség
Stated Purpose: To call public attention to the danger the homosexual propaganda poses to children and how to fight against it.

Date/Time: August 22 (Saturday) – 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Location: Marcius 15 tér in District 5
Organizer: European Patriots Unite Egyesület
Stated Purpose: To demonstrate against homosexual propaganda, and to express the organizer’s opinion on the homosexual Pride March.

Date/Time: August 22 (Saturday) – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Deák Ferenc tér, in front of the Evangelical Church in District 5
Organizer: Private individual.
Stated Purpose: To demonstrate for Christian values, the “normal and healthy” families, and to convey God’s message.
Actions to Take:
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Exercise caution if in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
