Thank you, Szeged!  Ambassador David B. Cornstein had an amazing and instructive visit to this wonderful city on October 12, 2018.

At an informative City Hall meeting and lunch with Mayor László Botka, the Ambassador learned more about political, cultural, and business life in Szeged and the important role this multicultural city plays in the region.

Afterward, Ambassador Cornstein met with 25 enthusiastic high school students, where they discussed a variety of topics, including lessons to succeed in business and the importance of education (including our FLEX Program!) at American Corner Szeged.

The Ambassador was even able to visit and tour the city’s recently restored beautiful Art Nouveau-style New Synagogue.  What a wonderful visit!
